The John and Sekine Athanas Foundation exists to carry forward the light of two artists whose voices and movements shaped generations.  We are gathering, digitizing, and archiving performances, photographs, and personal histories—ensuring that memory is safeguarded and shared. 

 We will support young musicians and dancers through workshops, scholarships, and mentorship, offering them the same encouragement that once shaped our parents’ journeys. 

 Through concerts, exhibitions, and seasonal events, we will celebrate artistry and heritage, inviting audiences to experience the beauty of legacy in motion. 

 We will create spaces—both online and in person—where stories, music, and dance can be shared, cherished, and passed on.
